Gifts for the Loony One

Good grief! I thought Blogger was down again for the nth time. Finally, the Create New Post page has finished downloading. Have I ever mentioned that I would be ever grateful to Blogger? I haven't even sent any thank you note to them after all these months of tolerance. The only time they get to hear from me is when I have a problem with the server or when I'd report some bugs.

Just went home from SM Dasma. Julian and I are supposed to look for 'something hard and long' at the mall. It's for our traditional exchange gift (a.k.a. Monito-Monita) thing at the plant. Last week, it was something 'soft and round'. I gave Ms. Looney Toons a minidisk. Pretty much self-explanatory. Looney Tunes (or Toons?) is the code name of the lucky person I picked during the balloting. I've chosen Blogger as my code name, for obvious reasons.

Thought it was a safe one but Aireene was the one who picked my name so in an instant, she knew. So now, I know that she's the one who's giving me these weekly gifts. But she's still not into admitting it. Anyway, advanced thank you to her who would be obliged to give me a gift again tomorrow.

Now, I hope Ms. Looney Tunes has been lunatic enough to appreciate my gift for her last week. If I see it tomorrow unclaimed, I have no doubt that this loony girl is Cali. She left for Vermont (or is it San Jose?) in California a few weeks ago but still have managed to join our little kris kringle thingy. Anyway, she could use the company's free shipping services to send her gifts. But I heard she's coming back soon. I smell chocolates again.
